Don't skip these tips! If you do, life here gets more challenging.

Username Tips

Generic but fun usernames are generally best.
We recommend a username that represents your school or program, not you as an individual- since the username will be shared. Picking something that represents your school or program will be easier if you should get promoted, transferred, or win the lottery and leave to sail the world on your new yacht. Usernames can not be changed, so it’s critical to choose wisely!

1. Usernames are shared.
Keep ’em generic.
2. Make them short, fun, and simple.
Easier for students to remember.
3. DO NOT enter -stu in the username field.
The system adds that to the end of student logins.

ALSO- CAMPUS LICENSES ARE SHARED FOR THE WHOLE SCHOOL.
Choose something that represents your school since it will be used by everyone on campus.

Password Tips

Fun and easy passwords are generally best.
With student passwords, we recommend you have a little fun! Many schools use the battlecry (GoEagles!), some encouraging words (BoomIGotThis!), or inside jokes or fun (SchwartzBeWithYou). Students have to enter the password and username every day, so make it easy to type and remember.

1. TEACHER PASSWORD SHOULD BE TOUGH.
We recommend using your school login password.
2. Student passwords should be easy.
This avoids forgetting and typos.
3. Both can be changed easily.
Your profile page as teacher lets you change both.

Smart Username Examples:

School/Mascot: CentralHigh, CentralHighACA, CHSGraphics, Tigertech, Graphixhound, PirateDesign, ACHGraphics, MTSDesign, WarhawkStudios,  etc.
Program/Theme: CHSDesign, DesignKids, RockOutGraphics, ACAVipers, CompDesign, GraphicsRGB, CameraKids, NerdHerd, PicsHicks, etc.

Smart Student Password Examples:

PassTheTest, Graphics, GoTigersGo, MrSmithIsMyHero, ILoveSchool, IDesignStuff, ACA4me, DesignTiger, RGBCMYK, SansSerif, etc.

Problematic Usernames:

Long Ones: takes time, more chances for typos, harder to remember.
Username With Spaces or unique characters: Introduces a lot of typos. Kids get confused/forget.
Usernames with -stu at the end: Our system adds -stu to your student logins, so if you type it in, you get -stu-stu at the end for students.

You're back!

It's great to see you again.

The most important step is to SIGN IN WITH YOUR EXISTING TEACHER/SINGLE USER ACCOUNT FIRST!

Watch the 30 second video below for instructions on how to extend a license without making any changes to your account, or follow these instructions:

  1. Sign in to the teacher/Single user account.
  2. Click the “Sign Up” button in your email
  3. Submit and enjoy!

If you’re changing your account type or renewing an expired account,
click the button below for a more in-depth tutorial.

Are you changing your account type?

If you are making a change to your account (i.e.: from demo to paid subscription or upgrading from class to campus), the instructions are the same as above, but YOU WILL LOSE ANY EXISTING TIME ON YOUR CURRENT ACCOUNT and the new account will start when you sign up and convert your account type. This is ONLY true if you are changing your account type- and you can get more detailed instructions in this video if you are changing account type.

Welcome Back! We’re stoked to have you back with us for another year of FUN and LEARNING (in that order to be most effective!)! These instructions are for users that wish to extend your existing subscription, change account types (like upgrading from Class to Campus) or renew an expired subscription. The critical step is to sign in first to your teacher/user account (Not a student login with a username ending in “-stu”). Once you do that, it’s smooth sailing!

If you would like to use a different username:

Please email us and we can delete your old account so that you can sign up using the same email and it also keeps our database tidy so the site runs as efficiently as possible.

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Sign in using your MAIN/TEACHER ACCOUNT.
           – If you’re seeing this message, you probably are.
  2. Click the signup button in your subscription email.
            – You can add/edit the student password* if you need to.
  3. Click submit and enjoy.
