Adobe’s Creative Cloud software distribution model allows the company to provide customers with innovative software updates as they become available. The April release of Premiere Pro CC 2017 has some amazing new features but the changes are so dramatic that we do not recommend deleting the CC15 version of the software if you are preparing to take the current 2015 ACA exam. This way you can practice with the workflow you will see on the current CC15 exams. THIS VIDEO (on youtube) shows you how to install both versions at home or with a CC license. At schools, you’ll probably need to talk to the IT department to get both versions installed.
We’re a big fan of upgrading fast, but new exams obviously trail the release of the software as the objectives and exams need to be written and tested before they’re released. Certiport will come out with a new version of the exam once Adobe releases new objectives and we will make sure to provide you with a new ACA Test Prep course to match!
In the meantime, we wanted to release these tutorials for you so that you will be ready with real world skills, using real world projects that prepare you for real world work in this industry! Check out THIS VIDEO that Rob did for Photoshop explaining how important it is to adjust to changes in the software- this industry changes really fast! You can’t sit on the old versions and miss out on the cool new features! Adjusting to changes is relatively easy once you get into the habit of doing it!
