CC15 Tutorials Intro

This quick intro is to introduce you to our tutorials, and our unique way of approaching effective, industry-ready curriculum. We do things differently here, in a way that mimics the real world as closely as possible. We don’t want to teach you how to use Photoshop CC15- we want to teach you to design using Photoshop. The version that you work with doesn’t matter (but new is always fun!) If it seems too weird for you, then we recommend the Adobe Learn series of books– the only books published by Adobe Press and targeted directly at the Adobe Certified Associate exams!

Tips on launching and keeping the software handy for Windows 10 and in general. You can also review these other videos on how to launch on Mac OSX and in our illustrator tutorial we have info on launching on Windows 8.

Facebook Tweaks with Adobe Photoshop™ CS for CC15!!!

Project 1 Files

pscs1splitAs mentioned in the intro,  We are using the CS tutorials to teach you some “old style” ways of doing things. This set of videos talks about quick destructive ways to edit photos. This isn’t the best way, but works fine in a jam. We want you to follow these tutorials in the CC15 version of the software! Some things will be slightly different, but as a designer, you need to learn to use tutorials written for another version of the software or you’ll never get far. We have an intro video and a review that are done in the new version of the software, but we honestly feel that it’s a critical skill to learn to roll with changes- Creative Cloud makes changes happen faster than ever before!

Also, We recommend taking the practice test BEFORE AND AFTER watching the videos- This strategy is PROVEN to help you remember the information! When taking the test AFTER the exam- See how you do without using any Hints!
